Who We Are
Significant to our service is the opportunity for each child to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, culturally, and physically. We believe in providing a positive learning experience for our children by offering practical, innovative, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our center follows the creative curriculum, which is a research-based system that offers early childhood educators a comprehensive collection of resources to help them build high-quality programs. This program teaches children to become creative, confident thinkers, and allows children differentiated instruction so that they can learn at their own level.
Positive Learning Environment
We have a caring, nurturing staff ready to actively guide your children into a positive learning environment. Those preschool students that will be continuing on to kindergarten the following year participate in a Kindergarten Readiness program that begins in January of the school year. In this classroom the children will be using worksheets and other hands-on material to learn addition, subtraction, more/less than, patterns, matching, missing number and name writing/tracing papers, letter and number tracing, phonemes, and site words. All of their work is sent home with notes of progress to each family. Heaven’s Child Daycare, Preschool & Learning Center also offers a summer camp for our school age students. Indoor & outdoor activities are provided each day of the camp to keep them actively engaged, as well as occasional field trips both on and offsite. Weather permitting, plenty of outside time is planned on our spacious playground and basketball court.
